And because all of that sugar-frenzy revelry and folklore fantasia chasing can't be captured by a single contributor, we asked both photographer Carly Viator of Electric Magnolia and social media specialist Victoria Barkley of Online Optimism to shoot festivities and document their fun in New Orleans and Acadiana for Wonder South.
